Our History

Founded in 1977, our primary mission is to recruit, train and place volunteers so they can use their diverse talents in service to our many local communities. We also help other nonprofits succeed by building their capacity to use volunteers effectively. Daily we engage skilled volunteers through our CASA program in the community. Finally, we participate in a wide range of strategic initiatives that mobilize volunteers to meet urgent local needs.
